As
a separate, not-for-profit corporation, Friends
of Vista Hill raises funds
to support Vista Hill Programs: individual donations; grant support;
special event sponsorship; charitable trusts; bequests; and volunteering. Through
your generosity, Friends of Vista Hill can continue to respond to the
needs of a rapidly changing world and help create new directions of hope,
healing and empowerment.
- Mother Hubbard's Cupboard: A special Collection Site for emergency food and supplies is at the Vista Hill Main Office at 8787 Complex Drive, San Diego, 92123. Enjoying the process are Cecil H. Steppe, Chairman of the Vista Hill Board of Directors, and Ann Mound, Executive Director of Friends of Vista Hill/VP, Development for Vista Hill. Board members, staff, volunteers, and visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and other important products (toilet paper, diapers, etc.) for children and families at Vista Hill's ParentCare. Mother Hubbard's Cupboard was established in 2007 through a generous contribution from the San Diego Women's Foundation.
- Match a Gift: Your contribution can help us remodel 10 classrooms at Stein Education Center. Gifts at any level (up to $50,000) are welcome and will be doubled to benefit this important capital project, one of Vista Hill's 50th Anniversary Goals. Special thanks to Darlyn and Chuck Davenport for providing the matching funds.
