Friends of Vista Hill is the fundraising arm of Vista Hill, governed by a Board of Trustees and supported by generous donors who make a truly significant difference in the lives of children and their families. Foundations, service organizations, corporations and private individuals support Vista Hill through financial contributions, volunteer leadership, and by introducing their friends to Vista Hill…won’t you join us?

Why should you get involved?

We don't flinch when a frustrated and exhausted family with a severely autistic child tells us we're their last hope.

The pain of discovering your child has a disability is overwhelming for most families. Then comes the fear, the uncertainty, the questions. How will we cope? What will happen to my child? Will he be able to go to school? Can he even learn? Brian’s family will never forget.

Nor do we reject the rebellious teenager whose parents are frantic as they watch their child drift into drugs, delinquency and danger.

The tension had been mounting and finally boiled over when Erin’s parents got a call from the police in the middle of the night. Their 14-year-old daughter had been taken into custody.

We don't turn our backs when a homeless, battered woman with severe substance abuse problems comes to us in desperation because her children have been taken away.

It was less than two years ago that Mary found herself homeless, severely drug-addicted and suicidal in an El Cajon park. I had just lost my newborn son during childbirth, Mary recalls.

Your interest and active participation are most welcome.  On behalf of our staff and clients, we encourage you to attend our events, volunteer your time, make a donation and get involved.

Our success is everyone's success. Won't you join us? Location Map
